Semi Trucks & Trailers
Our semi trucks and specialized trailer fleet give Quality Towing the ability to handle transportation and recovery jobs that are simply too large for a conventional tow truck or rollback. From heavy equipment and machinery to disabled commercial vehicles and freight, these combinations give us tremendous flexibility for unusual and heavy-duty jobs.
Our semi tractors are equipped with wet kits (hydraulic systems), allowing them to connect to and operate a variety of hydraulically powered trailers. This gives us the flexibility to bring in specialized trailers based on the needs of the job, rather than being limited to a standard tractor-trailer combination.
The centerpiece of this equipment is our Landoll-style hydraulic tilt-deck and sliding-axle trailer. The easiest way to describe it is a rollback on steroids. The trailer hydraulically tilts and lowers toward the ground, allowing heavy vehicles and equipment to be winched or loaded onto the deck rather than requiring a crane or conventional loading dock.
This makes the Landoll an incredibly useful tool for heavy-duty towing and recovery, equipment transportation, machinery hauling, disabled truck transport, buses, commercial vehicles, forklifts, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, and other large or difficult-to-load vehicles and machinery. For vehicles that cannot run or equipment that cannot easily be loaded onto a conventional trailer, the Landoll's hydraulic deck and winch give us options that a standard flatbed trailer simply doesn't have.
The Landoll is also an important part of our heavy-duty recovery capabilities. After a large vehicle or piece of equipment has been recovered, damaged vehicles may not be suitable for conventional towing. The Landoll allows us to load and transport many of these vehicles completely on the trailer, making it particularly valuable for wrecked, disabled, damaged, or non-running commercial vehicles and equipment.
We also keep a dry van semi-trailer available when a situation involves cargo or freight. If goods need to be transferred from a disabled or damaged truck or trailer, we can provide a trailer to receive the load and transport it when necessary. This can be especially valuable during commercial breakdowns, accidents, trailer failures, and other situations where getting the cargo taken care of is just as important as recovering the vehicle.
Whether you need heavy equipment transported, a disabled commercial vehicle hauled, freight transferred, a specialized hydraulic trailer moved, or a heavy-duty recovery that requires more than a conventional tow truck, our semi trucks and trailer fleet give us the equipment and flexibility to handle the entire job.
