Select the Jurisdiction Authorizing the Impound

All releases are by appointment only
 

We allow 10 minutes per appointment.  Please be on time.  No shows,  late arrivals, missing documents or lack of payment will require rescheduling the next business day and are subject to a $25 charge plus storage. 

 

Please have all the required documents and payment before you schedule an appointment. 

  • Private Property:
    Our release hours are Monday through Friday from 9AM to 4:30PM and closed on all holidays. Please call to verify the location of your vehicle and charges during our release hours. Our after hours dispatchers will not have access to this information. We will release only to the registered owner of the vehicle. You must present proof of ownership (title or registration in your name), valid photo ID and proof of insurance if driving vehicle off the lot. If the vehicle owner is not able to appear in person, they may submit a notarized letter authorizing another person to take possession of the vehicle. The person so authorized must present a valid photo ID. Please call during release hours for charges.
  • Columbia Police Department:
    The Columbia Police Department requires you to obtain a release before you redeem your vehicle. Once you have the release, please call 618-281-0869 during release hours for the amount of the charges and to schedule an appointment. The after hours dispatchers will not have access to this information. Our release hours are Monday through Friday from 9AM to 4:30PM and closed on all holidays. Our lot is located at 8607 Midway Blvd, Columbia, IL 62236. We are required to release only to the registered owner of the vehicle. You must present proof of ownership (title or registration in your name), valid photo ID and proof of insurance if driving vehicle off the lot. If the vehicle owner is not able to appear in person, they may submit a notarized letter authorizing another person to take possession of the vehicle.   • Waterloo Police Department:
    Our release hours are Monday through Friday from 9AM to 4:30PM and closed on all holidays. Please call 618-281-0869 to verify there is not a police hold and for charges during our release hours before scheduling an appointment.     The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department requires you to obtain a release before you redeem your vehicle.
